Our Lettering Styles

Every alphabet is drafted by hand to suit the character of your business.

Classic Roman

Elegant, timeless, and formal. Rooted in ancient monumental inscriptions, this style provides an air of establishment and authority, making it perfect for professional firms, heritage buildings, and high-end retail environments.

Casual & Script

Fluid and full of life. Script lettering mimics traditional cursive brushwork, adding a warm, approachable human touch to cafes, independent bakeries, and creative studios. It stands out with natural, sweeping curves.

Block & Egyptian

Bold, industrial, and unmissable. Featuring thick stems and sturdy slab serifs, this highly legible style ensures maximum impact from a distance, frequently used for taverns, workshops, and large-scale architectural signs.

Glass Gilding

The pinnacle of the craft. True 23ct gold leaf is applied to the inside of the glass and backed with protective enamel. The result is a brilliant, mirror-like finish that catches the sunlight and immediately elevates a storefront window.

Questions About Our Work

Helpful information about the commissioning and painting process.

Can you match an existing font or logo?

Yes. We frequently work with branding agencies and business owners to carefully translate existing vector logos into hand-painted signs. We adjust the letterforms slightly to ensure they work beautifully with a traditional brush.

How long does a hand-painted sign last?

A high-quality hand-painted sign using premium signwriting enamels can easily outlast modern vinyl graphics. With proper care and preparation, an exterior sign can maintain its integrity and color for over a decade.

Do you paint directly onto brickwork?

We do. Ghost signs and large exterior brickwork murals are a historical part of the trade. We assess the wall surface during a site visit to determine the right primers and paints for the masonry.

What is the lead time for a new project?

Because every sign is custom-drafted and painted entirely by hand, our availability varies. We typically require a lead time of four to six weeks from final design approval to the scheduled installation or completion.
